Mangano Calls On Public To Nominate Local Mothers For Distinguished Mother Recognition

In recognition of the 2nd Annual Mother’s Day Brunch, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano is calling on members of the community to nominate local mothers who have made extraordinary contributions to the community. Nominations should be submitted no later than April 1st. The 2nd Annual Mother’s Day Brunch will be held in mid-May at Old Bethpage Village Restoration.

“It is my honor to host this year’s Mother’s Day Brunch Celebration which recognizes Nassau mother’s for the work they do all year long making our County a better place to live, work and raise a family,” said County Executive Mangano.

Residents are asked to nominate an individual in the community who exemplifies the qualities of outstanding parenthood, such as, kindness, caring, sacrifice and generosity to children. The county is seeking individuals who go above and beyond their responsibilities as parents and citizens and have an impact on the well-being of children in the community.
