Abrahams' Annual "Holiday of Giving" Announced

Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Freeport) is pleased to announce that his second annual “Holiday of Giving” back to the community and Information Expo are scheduled for Saturday, December 10th from noon until 4 p.m. at the Bethel AME Church located at 420 N. Main Street in Freeport. Legislator Abrahams and Glory House, Inc. once again are hosting this free event for all our families.

Legislator Abrahams said, “Let’s celebrate together and make our communities better, safer, stronger and more informed. I invite everyone to come out on December 10th for giveaways, a free picture with Santa, numerous contributions from our local businesses and to receive valuable information and education services. Our Holiday of Giving will be an opportunity for our residents to meet one another and speak to representatives of County agencies, community groups and business owners. Working together we can make a difference.”

Donations of toys for Santa to give out, along with new and used items are still needed for our holiday table of giving. Vendor space is still available at the time of this release; please contact Leg Abrahams office for information 571-6201.
