Legislator Abrahams Announces Bar Association's Free Mortgage Foreclosure Consultations

Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) announced today that the Nassau County Bar Association will be holding a free “Mortgage Foreclosure Consultation Clinic” at the Association’s building, 15th and West Streets, Mineola on Monday, Sept. 14, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Presented as a community service by the Nassau County Bar Association, the consultation clinic is free for Nassau County homeowners.

Housing counselors from the Nassau County Homeownership Center, representatives from the Nassau/Suffolk Law Services; and bankruptcy attorneys will be on hand to answer everyone’s questions. One-on-one guidance, advice and direction will be available through a volunteer Nassau County Bar Association attorney to homeowners facing foreclosure.
