Abrahams Announces Summer Employment Opportunities in Nassau County

Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) today announced that summer employment opportunities are available in Nassau County for youth ages 16 and older. Applicants must have working papers and must have lived in Nassau for at least one year.

Nassau County offers a wide variety of employment opportunities in hundreds of departments. Among the departments students can choose from are the Parks Department, the Department of Public Works, the Legislature, or the Human Rights Commission (students must be between the ages of 17 and 21 to work in the Human Rights Commission).
