Legislator Abrahams Attends Freeport Fleet Week

(FREEPORT, NY) – Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams, D-Freeport, recently joined the US Navy on their second annual visit to Freeport as part of Fleet Week NY 2012. The US Navy’s visit to Randall Park included a helicopter demonstration, featuring a team of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) personnel, a performance by the Navy Band and more. As part of the event, the public was able to talk to the EOD team and aircrew, and tour the helicopter.
