Legislator Abrahams to Host 2013 Job/Career Fair

The fair provides tremendous opportunities for job seekers, as well as employers & franchisor/franchisee

(GARDEN CITY, NY) – Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Freeport), in conjunction with Town of Hempstead Department of Occupational Resources, are once again hosting the 2013 Job/Career Fair & Franchise Opportunities, including a Veteran’s Job & Resource Fair, at Nassau Community College, CCB Multipurpose Room, on Wednesday, July 10th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Together, they are offering prospective employees, including our veterans, a terrific chance to discover new employment opportunities. The job fair is being sponsored by Glory House, Inc.

This event is free to all who participate. It gives job seekers and future franchisees the ability to speak with a variety of business owners and representatives up-close-and-personal in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. It also provides opportunities to gain terrific experience in the interviewing process. There is also a Veteran’s Job Fair & Resource Service Support component for any business looking to hire vets. All attendees are encouraged to bring their résumés.
