MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONIES HONORS AMERICA’S HEROES

The Villages of Mineola & Williston Park marked Memorial Day 2011 by parades and ceremonies at their respective Veterans Monuments. As always, the ceremonies were dedicated to those who died in the armed forces in defense of America as well as our veterans and troops serving our great country. The Village of Mineola and the American Legion Mineola Memorial Post 349 jointly hosted their annual Mineola parade and ceremony while the Williston Park Post 144 of the American Legion hosted the Williston Park parade and everlasting service ceremony.
