LEGISLATOR NICOLELLO OBTAINS NEW PORTABLE RADIOS

FOR NEW HYDE PARK AUXILIARY POLICE UNIT

Nassau County Legislator Richard Nicolello has successfully obtained funding from Nassau County to purchase three new portable radios for the New Hyde Park Auxiliary Police Unit 212.

Legislator Nicolello was contacted by Captain John Concannon regarding the need for the radios and updated equipment. The radios will allow officers to leave their cars and communicate with other officers during neighborhood patrols, community events, traffic accidents, or other emergencies.
