LEGISLATOR NICOLELLO ANNOUNCES IMPROVEMENTS FOR

WILLISTON PARK LITTLE LEAGUE BALLFIELD & VILLAGE POOL

Working with Mayor Paul Ehrbar and Deputy Mayor Bill Darmstadt, Legislator Rich Nicolello has secured Nassau County grants for two projects in the Village of Williston Park. The first project will fund the purchase of sun covers for the spectator bleachers at the Little League’s Kelleher Field. The Village will receive $8000 to pay for the permanent sun covers, which will match the existing covers over the dugouts. Williston Park will also receive $15,000 for the refurbishment of the men’s & women’s locker room and bathroom facilities at the Roger Fay Pool.

These projects were brought to the attention of Legislator Nicolello by Mayor Ehrbar and Deputy Mayor Darmstadt, who worked cooperatively to complete the County’s approval process.
