Biography:
Legislator Michael Venditto was first elected Nassau Legislator in November 2012 and was re-elected in 2013 by a wide margin. He represents Legislative District 12 which includes the Massapequas and portions of Farmingdale.
Legislator Venditto is a graduate of Farmingdale High School where he was President of National Honor Society and Team Captain of Varsity Soccer team. He attended Hofstra University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. Legislator Venditto also has a law degree from St. Johns University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
Prior to joining the Nassau County Legislator, Legislator Venditto served as a Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of Hempstead, as well as Counsel to the Hempstead Town Board.
Legislator Venditto lives in Massapequa with his wife.
