Legislator Dunne joins with Levittown Kiwanis Club

for Food Drive to Benefit Joplin Tornado Victims

Nassau County Legislator Dennis Dunne, Sr. joined the Levittown Kiwanis Club to gather necessities for tornado victims in Joplin, Missouri outside Stop & Shop in Levittown. Totals as of Monday afternoon were as follows: 20 shopping carts worth of food, $580 in cash donations, and 100 bags of assorted clothing, toys, and household items. The club intends to fill a 5’ X 10’ trailer to capacity. Circle K, the college Kiwanis club, also donated a pediatric trauma kit to treat children impacted by the disaster.
