Legislator Jacobs is a Guest Reader at Parkway School

The pouring rain on Tuesday morning, the 18th of January did nothing to dampen the spirits always noticeable in the Parkway School in Plainview, according to Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury). Jacobs was a guest reader to a first grade class and read the Dr. Seuss book, "Oh, the Place You'll Go." The children then enjoyed a discussion with Jacobs about their future plans and Jacobs pointed out how important it is for everyone to try if they believe they can do something, She told them, " you may not succeed the first time, but if you keep trying and believe in yourself, many good things can happen."
