Long Island 2Day Breast Cancer Walk Kickoff

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) is pictured at the kickoff event launching the “2009 Long Island 2Day Breast Cancer Walk that will be held on June 6th and 7th. Using the motto “what is raised here, stays here” Long Island 2Day Breast Cancer Walk marks the sixth year of sponsoring a walk to raise funds for various breast cancer research organizations and support groups right here in our community. Legislator Jacobs was joined at the kickoff by Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto, Legislator Dave Mejias (D-Farmingdale), Channel 12 News anchor Carol Silva, LI 2Day Walk executive director Ginny Salerno and Chris Brivio.
