Legis. Jacobs Guest Reads to Syosset Kindergarteners

J. Irving Baylis students enjoyed listening to Jacobs read from a Shel Silverstein book

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) was an invited guest reader during PARP week at the J. Irving Baylis Elementary School in the Syosset School District on Friday, February 10th. She read to Mrs. Pizzarelli’s kindergarten class. Jacobs’ own granddaughter, Sydney, is a student in the class and sat next to her throughout the reading. Jacobs said, “What a delight this was. The children were so intelligent and had such a terrific sense of humor. We all laughed together as we shared the Shel Silverstein book, A Giraffe and a Half.”
