Legislator Jacobs Attends the Culinary Academy of Nassau County's Citizenship Day

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) attended the Culinary Academy of Nassau County Citizenship Day on Friday, September 16th. The Culinary Academy is part of the Star Career Academy and is located on Michael Drive in Syosset. She spoke to the Culinary students about government, the Bill of Rights and the importance of being kind, involved, and the need for participation in the election process. Jacobs said, “Regardless of which party you register for, it is a right you have to vote and express yourself. Don’t waste it, embrace it, and have a voice in your future.”
