Legislator Jacobs Presents Bronze Awards to 5th Grade Girl Scouts

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs, (D-Woodbury) attended the Bronze Award Ceremony for 5th grade Girl Scouts held at the Walt Whitman Elementary School in the Syosset School system on Friday, April 8th. Jacobs presented Bronze Awards to the young ladies and discussed the role of women in government. Jacobs said, “The girl scouts were so interesting to talk to. I explained to them that the world is open to young ladies today and to always follow their dreams.”
