Local Student's Photography on Display - All Proceeds Benefit Make A Wish

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) was invited to view the photography display on view at Hair 2000, 1163 Old Country Road, located in the The Cravings shopping Center in Plainview. The photographer, a JFK High School student, David Walker, has won awards for his photography. The photographs are for sale and all proceeds will be donated to the Make A Wish Foundation. "This was such a meaningful moment. The photographs are so thought provoking, many bringing back memories of places visited and experienced. The best of all is how delightful and gracious this young man is ", said Jacobs. Family and friends and the owner of Hair 2000 were all present for the event. The photography will be displayed for a number of weeks.
