Stratford Road Elementary School Parents as Reading Partners

Friday, March 25, Legislator Judy Jacobs, (D-Woodbury) visited the Stratford Road Elementary School in Plainview to read to a class for PARP week. Jacobs explained to the students how important reading is, no matter what field of work you choose as you get older. She read the wonderful book by Shel Silverstein, “A Giraffe and a Half” and the children enjoyed it immensely.
