The Country Rock Group Mary Lamont will be the feature entertainment at the Jones Beach Bandshell Monday, August 24, 2009. The first 50 veterans will receive a free gift from Jiffy Lube and 300 Long Island Bowling. The concert begins at 7:30 and park in field 4 and walk to Boardwalk.
Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 7:00 pm will be the start of the Annual POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony. The event will take place at the Veterans Monument at Eisenhower Park and will last about one hour.
September 13, 2009 is the date for the special 5K Walk/Run in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy. The race begins at 9:00 A.M. at Bethpage State Park-Polo Field.

CERT Training is a basic training that includes emergency preparedness, first aid, community and family safety, light search and rescue, disaster psychology, terrorism issues, and CERT procedures.
