The United Veterans Organization of Nassau County (UVONC) recently held their testimonial and installation dinner. The UVONC is the umbrella Veterans Organization of 30 member associations that represent over 100,000 Nassau County Veterans.
Nassau County officials were on hand to celebrate and acknowledge the honorees, outgoing President Joseph Librizzi and incoming President Joseph P. Slattery, Jr. Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell took part in the celebration and expressed her congratulations, presenting Joseph Librizzi, Joseph Slattery, and UVONC’s officers with County Citations in recognition of their outstanding dedication and service.
