(Mineola, NY) Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell recently joined the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Nassau County at their annual Red Mass celebrated by Bishop William Murphy. This celebration marks the opening of the judicial year and gives legal professionals the opportunity to join in faith and fellowship in asking for God’s guidance as they carry out their duties. Following the mass a reception was held at Chaminade High School where those in attendance joined in honoring Rev. Msgr. Robert J. Brennan, Vicar General of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, and Thomas Monaghan, Founder of Domino’s Pizza, Ave Maria Law School and Legatus, and posthumously recognized Dennis Dillon, former Nassau County District Attorney, for their contributions.
