Mangano Announces Major Storm Water Management Initiative To Reduce Pollution In Waterways & Beaches
Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Legislator Donald MacKenzie today announced a major step forward in restoring health to our waterways and beaches with the installation of cutting edge technology that will reduce the amount of pollutants and debris that are carried to the fragile waters through storm water drain pipes. The technology is manufactured by AbTech Industries (a subsidiary of Abtech Holdings Inc. - OTC QB: ABHD) – a leader in the development of storm water treatment technologies – who won the right to perform this storm water infrastructure work through a competitive bidding process.

Mangano Converts Foreclosurers Into Homes For First-Time Buyers
In recognition of National Homeownership Month, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced the conversion of six foreclosures into homes for first-time homebuyers through the use of Federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds. The Mangano administration has assisted dozens of families in achieving the American Dream of homeownership through this program.

Mangano Officially Opens Museum Of American Armor
On the 70th Anniversary of D-Day, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano officially opened the new Museum of American Armor on the grounds of Old Bethpage Village Restoration with more than 20 operational armor vehicles and D-Day veterans. County Executive Mangano was joined by Congressman Peter King, Museum founder Lawrence Kadish, former New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and The History Channel’s Chief Historian and Vice President Dr. Libby O’Connell.
