Aquatic Fitness Classes

Aquaerobics – Water is a perfect environment for exercising, losing weight, strengthening, toning muscles, reducing stress, relaxing and simply having fun. This is an exercise program performed in shallow water. This program gives the benefits of massage and improves circulation, muscle tone, joint flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. It is a total body workout. 20 people per class.

Joint Efforts – This class is a recreational series of gentle activities in the pool using the water environment to decrease pain and stiffness, and improve and maintain joint flexibility. This program is great for seniors, those suffering with arthritis and those recovering from injuries. 15 people per class.

Aquajog – A deep-water exercise program designed as a zero-impact total body workout. Studies indicate that one-half hour of aqua jogging is equal to one hour and 20 minutes of running on land without stress on the joints. 20 people per class.
